I just got back from Hastings, where I was plesently suprised.

In the June issue of Metal Edge they have their reader's poll.
Best Vocalist: #10 Joe Elliott
Best Metal/Hard Rock Band: #9 Def Leppard
Best Guitarist: #10 Phil Collen
Best Bassist: #5 Rick Savage 
Best Drummer: #6 Rick Allen
Best Keyboardist: #5 Rick Savage and Eddie Van Halen (tie)

I was just very supprised to hear that even when Def Leppard doesn't 
release a new album they do so well in "the polls".  I think this is a 
good sign, and I hope it sends a signal to the Leps to give us more, we 
want it.

One more thing from Metal Edge, they quote Joe as wanting on his 
tombstone  "He came, He went, He sang a bit"
