Reinemann" Date sent: Fri, 25 Aug 2000 18:18:50 -0400 Subject: Def Leppard to rock the Evergreen State Fair Def Leppard to rock the Evergreen State Fair Friday, August 25, 2000 By GENE STOUT SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER POP MUSIC CRITIC Heavy-metal band Def Leppard, which recently launched a new Web site at www.DefLeppard.com, will be a part of the diverse musical lineup at this year's Evergreen State Fair in Monroe. Performing Sept. 1 (tickets are $27.50), the band is one of six grandstand headliners this year. Besides Def Leppard, the fair will include Glenn Yarbrough Sunday at 5 p.m. (tickets $10), Pat Benatar Monday at 7 p.m. (tickets $20), the Doobie Brothers Tuesday at 7 p.m. (tickets $20), Willie Nelson Wednesday at 7 p.m. (tickets $20) and Clay Walker Thursday at 7 p.m. (tickets $20). Up to 2,000 free concert seats are available per show with paid fair admission. The exception is Def Leppard's show, where all seats are reserved. Tickets can also be ordered online through www.fastixx.com Tickets include admission to the fair. The fair opened yesterday and continues through Sept. 4. Admission is $7 for adults (16 to 61), $5 for seniors (62 and up) and $4 for youths (6 to 15). Children 5 and under are admitted free.
