"Release Me," listed on all releases as being "performed and produced by Stumpus Maximus and the Good Ol' Boys," is actually Def Leppard featuring lead vocals by Malvin Mortimer, long-time Def Leppard guitar technician.
There are at least four different edits and/or extended remixes of "Rocket" available in Europe, all of which go by the name of "Lunar Mix." For instance, LEP6, LEPX6, and LEPCD6 each contain a different mix, and the German CD-single with "Rocket" has yet another mix!

The text below accompanied the very first discography in the Def Leppard 4 CD box set.
This Def Leppard Discography is part of a much larger work that Kathleen Clark, official Def Leppard archivist, has been compiling since 1985. At some point in the future, she will be publishing an entire worldwide discography, which will include: records, tapes and CD's (both commercial and promotional); videos (commercial and promotional); radio and TV appearances; printed media (books, magazines, posters, etc.); and guest appearances on non-Def Leppard recordings, among other items.
Please note that the discography included here is a "bare bones" one due to space limitations. When published, Ms. Clark's discography will include comments on picture covers, label designs, color vinyl, etc.
For the purposes of this booklet, we are limiting the Def Leppard discography to U.K. releases. Since many releases in the rest of Europe contain the same songs, to list all releases for all countries would probably require another box just to hold the listings. We will note, however, many of the releases unique to a specific European market. Where known, we will list release date, label and stock number, and song titles. Only commercially available records/tapes/CD's are listed. This discography covers the perios from January 1979 through spring of 1989.
All records, tapes and Cd's listed in this discography (with the exception of the first listing in the EP section) have been or are marketed worldwide by PolyGram Records.
