Updates to The Def Leppard Archive

The Def Leppard Archive has undergone several updates recently.

The server hosting the machine received a new motherboard (which is why the Archive was down for most of January and February 2001), and added more disk space (more files!!!). Also, it is now entirely written in XHTML. With XHTML, I can do upgrades and style layout changes much easier, which means that things can look nicer and will be easier to navigate.

FIVE have recorded a cover version of DEF LEPPARD's 1987 classic 'POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME', NME.COM can exclusively reveal. And Leppard frontman Joe Elliott has given the rapped-up pop version his seal of approval.

Thirty-year-olds love the group, 20-year-olds missed the glory years and most age 40 and over probably think they sound like screeching hyenas jumping garbage can lids. None, however, ever thought that the once British pop and hard-rock kings would end up at RodeoHouston.

Madonna's Movie Company To Make Def Leppard Biopic

MADONNA'S movie company is set to produce a series of music films for cable station VH1, including a biopic of Brit rockers Def Leppard.

MadGuy, the company set up by the singer and her business partner Guy Oseary, have struck a deal with the station to produce as many as half a dozen TV movies over the next 12 months.
