As 22-year-old twins, J.R. and Gabe Boyer unsurprisingly share things in common.
Both are passionate about 1980s rock band Def Leppard. "Gabe is the fanatic," said J.R. "He knows every minute detail about them."
Born two months premature, both also use wheelchairs because of cerebral palsy, a condition that prevents the brain from adequately controlling body movement and posture.
So the Boyer brothers can relate to Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen. Injured in a 1984 automobile accident that claimed his left arm, Allen founded the Raven Drum Foundation a year ago to help people with disabilities.
